Because Violet is a new illustrator, she is focused on gaining experience and expanding her outreach. She is happy to do new projects and learn in the meantime!

This means that she is not charging for commission.

If you are interested in getting an illustration, this is the commission process:

  1. Reach out to Violet with your name, illustration request, and any literature that may provide a solid context for the illustration.

  2. You will decide on an expected deadline for the first draft. Violet needs at minimum two weeks for an illustration’s first draft.

  3. Once the first draft is complete, Violet will send it to you for review. You will provide revision requests, and then she will work to correct them. When done within a few days, she will send the revised version to you, and the process will repeat until you are satisfied.

  4. Lastly, Violet will add color to the illustration and finalize any details.

  5. Violet will request an update on where the illustration is used / published and to be included for proper credit for any publications.
